Independent Roofing Systems

Founded in 1980, Independent Roofing Systems has established itself as a trusted leader in commercial roofing solutions across Mississippi and the Southeast. Our company was built on a foundation of integrity, craftsmanship, and a relentless commitment to quality, values that remain unchanged even as we have grown into a key partner under Rampart Exterior Services. With over four decades of experience, we specialize in commercial-only roofing, offering a comprehensive range of services including new construction, repairs, maintenance programs, and specialty solutions tailored to meet the unique demands of each project. Our in-house crews, certified by leading manufacturers, utilize advanced techniques and high-quality materials to deliver durable, energy-efficient systems that stand the test of time. Safety is paramount in everything we do, reflected in our EMR rate below 1.0 for over 20 years and a dedicated safety officer on every project.

We pride ourselves on our ability to tackle complex, high-profile projects that other contractors avoid, from multi-building replacements to emergency repairs with zero business disruption. Our preventative maintenance programs, backed by infrared moisture analysis and detailed reporting, help clients reduce leaks by up to 70%, extend roof life by 2x, and cut lifecycle costs by up to 40%. As active members of Mississippi's construction community, we combine local expertise with national resources to provide unmatched service. Our history of awards, including ABC National STEP Diamond Awards and partnerships with top manufacturers, underscores our position as an industry leader. Whether working on a government facility, medical center, or retail complex, we approach every project with the same no-shortcuts mindset that has defined our company since its inception.
