Our foam roof applied in 2017 by another contractor had begun to crack and leak. Not that happy with the initial installation I took the recommendation of my neighbor who was satisfied with his recent foam roof provided by Ray Carano. Requesting a quote, Ray responded within the week and upon my acceptance completed repairs and recoating within days. I waited for a rain test before this review. We got a good one last night and I can report NO LEAKS for the first time in 2 years. I highly recommend this firm and its competent personnel.

I called Ray on a friends recommendation. It was a storm and I had water coming through a porch roof. He came over immediately and worked with me on getting drains on other roof unclogged while it was storming then was sheepish about not charging me! I insisted that I should pay him and did but Ray was one of the most kind, professional, knowledgeable people Ive had at my home! What a great guy and a great find! Ray is probably one of the finest contractors Ive worked with. Being a contractor myself I understand what keeping a reputation and positive feedback means for your business. My homeowners association complained about the color not being right on our flashing dont even think it was Rays fault and he came out and touched up the roof flashing and made sure everything was correct. This all happened four months after the job was complete. He also did a great job on our foam roof quality job quick completion great cleanup. Ray came out within hours in the middle of pouring rain to inspect our roof and give us a bid - not because we had a roof leak, but because we needed some minor repairs done that were noted in an inspection of the house we are selling. They did an excellent job of resurfacing our roof including filling in low spots and taking care that there was no spill over onto the eaves. Ray was very professional and took great care to our property (resurfacing is a messy business). The price was fair and he was able to accommodate our schedule. I had a very good experience working with Foam Roofing Experts. It was a more complex project than a new foam installation since I took the old roof down to the rafters and put in new tongue and groove lumber, and added solar in the process, so there were multiple contractors involved, and Ray and my general contractor coordinated almost everyday Solar fell behind schedule so we went forward without it and Ray and his crew will come back again after the solar brackets get installed. We tried to pick a time with no chance of rain but with building inspections time went by and we had heavy rain a few days and Ray was up on the roof putting down tarps and keeping my house dry. I am happy with the result of the whole effort.

I called Ray to clean off the pigeon nesting in abundance due to solar panels and repair broken tiles. We spoke a couple of times to coordinate, he came when I wasn't home and inspected the roof then sent me an estimate in the same day. Ray then came over yesterday to do the repairs and cleaning. He cleaned the debris that had fallen from the roof into my garden. (Nobody does that!) and he even rinsed off the windows where the slated awning had allowed the pigeon droppings to go through. Ray is a rare gem these days. I HIGHLY recommend calling him for all of your roofing needs even if it's not listed in the ad.

I can't recommend Ray and his folks at Foam Roofing Experts of the Desert highly enough. We were about to go with a much more expensive and well-known company in town when I saw his truck and called for an estimate. Ray was extremely responsive that carried through the completion of the project. He was patient with a last minute potential setback and actually helped me resolve the issue by recommending another tradesman to assist. The only minor complaint I had was the mess Ray's crew left after the first day on the job as it posed some dangerous possibilities for our pets running around outside. Again, he responded quickly and made sure the crew cleaned up to a fairly good level each day thereafter. I highly recommend this team for your roofing needs. Nice to see a local, small business owner outshining his more well-known competition.

Stop looking for anyone else now! Ray is your guy! Ray is courteous, reasonably priced, responsive, and does great work. I had Ray service my foam roof, but also had some leaks around some skyline windows. Ray not only applied sealant to each window, but also installed a metal strip above each one to divert rain. Work was done timely with excellent follow-up. I even saw Ray use a blower to remove the dust from my vehicle after they were done. Hope I don't need Ray any time soon, but if I do, I'm keeping his contact information handy!

Our Homeowner Association used Foam Roofing Experts of the Desert to re-coat our foam roofs (approximately 28,000 sq. ft.). Of the five companies we contacted to bid on the job, Ray Carano was the first to respond. All of our dealings with him were professional. The work was done exactly as promised. I am having 23 solar panels installed and I needed someone to work with the installers and at the same time my HOA and the city of P.S. Raymond handled it all seamlessly and as fast as he could. Raymond moves fast and wants to get things done.

I will hire someone who has prior great referrals. Raymond is your man for poly-urethane roofing- the white foam you see on rooftops. I have a large walk way around my second floor building. I was afraid of the cost, the mess, and the time. Problem solved. I found Raymond and I have had zero leaking. I had problem areas, and I didnt realize the roof needed replacing. We have used Ray Carano for years. His work is high quality and always perfectly performed. He helped us with a particularly difficult job in which we had a persistent leak due to an incorrectly installed skylight. He was able to remove and replace the skylight and re-roof around it, all in the same day without making a big mess and with the result that we had no more leaks. Above all, he is a friendly and straightforward person and easy to deal with.

Raymond, the owner, and his crew did a superb joy cleaning, patching, applying a primer coat, spraying the foam and lastly applying the white elastomeric coating on the roof! I got four bids and his bid was both fair and reasonable! Also, when Raymond did the bid he took pictures of the issues on the roof and took the time to explain exactly the procedure. He also was very patient to answer all the questions I had for him. The other companies that bid on this job took the time that anyone would need to feel secure in the vendor to do this kind of work. You will not go wrong with Raymond and his company!!
