Do I Need a New Roof
Missing, creased, curling, buckling materials, granules filling the gutters, loose tab adhesion-all point to roofing problems.
By looking at your roof, you may be able to spot missing and damaged shingles.
However having your roof inspected especially after a windy storm might reveal additional issues with the current roofing system.
Localized damage-might be able to be repaired.
Extensive damage, however, may make it necessary to completely replace your existing roof.
Because water finds its own way-the water stain that appears on your ceiling doesn't necessarily correspond to where the water's coming into your house.

Choosing the Right Contractor
Best decision for your money is choosing a local contractor with proven track record of completed jobs, properly licensed/insured in roofing category and current of all its liabilities, with great referrals who is all about the job quality, not job quantity!.
If you can, avoid hiring roofing company that subcontracts the actual roofing work: To minimize the problems with the actual roof installation when don't know who your installers are, and minimize your potential liability in cases of damage or injury, avoid hiring roofing companies that subcontract the actual roofing work to other roofing company or use leased employees.

Types of Roofing Materials
While there are many materials and brands available on the market, one should pause and consider the following before making a decision to purchase.
Every roof is different and requires an individual approach.
Bohemia Roofing has the experience to help you make an informed decision about which roofing material is best for your roofing project.
Asphalt shingles are the most commonly used roofing material because of their quality and low cost relative to other materials.
Asphalt shingles are often warrantied between 20 and 30 years, but in Florida they have historically only lasted between 10 and 15.
